Green Innovation selected member of ECHA hydrogen production roundtable

Green Innovation Ltd. is the only Bulgarian company selected for the roundtable for hydrogen production – one of the six thematic working groups organized by the European Commission, within the framework of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance.

The innovative Bulgarian company that offers high efficiency systems for hydrogen production, as well as systems for optimization of combustion processes through hydrogen fuel, will work shoulder to shoulder with the big in the sector, such as Siemens, Nel Hydrogen, and ABB. “This is a recognition for our work, as well as a signal that we are doing something meaningful with a real added value, which will contribute to a greener present and future,” said the CEO of the company Dragomir Ivanov.

The roundtables are working groups responsible for the operational work of the Alliance. They are six in total, devoted to different key topics, the one on hydrogen production being foundational for the first wave of investments, which are planned to focus namely on production capacities for the green fuel. The task for the working groups is to develop an action plan for attaining optimal favourable conditions for realisation of the EU investment agenda for hydrogen, which foresees 430 billion euro to be invested by 2030. The roundtables will commence their work in January 2021.

The European Alliance for Clean Hydrogen has been founded to support the implementation of the European Hydrogen Strategy for Climate Neutral Europe (presented by the EC in July 2020) by building an investment agenda and a plan for scaling up the hydrogen value chain in Europe at large. Green Innovation Ltd. was accepted to the Alliance in October this year.
